Wildschönau Skijuwel

The highest valley of Tirol is a natural jewel for hiking and skiing. In the Wildschönau, hospitality is not just a word. Everybody is greeted with a friendly “Griass di“ (hello) and welcomed. “Hock di her“ (come sit with us!) is an open invitation to all guests alike. The ski areas in the Wildschönau: (Niederau, Oberau and Auffach) and the Alpbachtal complete the Ski Juwel. With 145 km of slopes and 47 lifts, the Ski Juwel belongs to the top 10 of the largest ski areas in Tirol. In Auffach you can take the gondola lift to the Schatzberg (1750m), and reach all further destinations from there. There you can find the connection to the ski area, Alpbachtal. With the help of the numerous lifts it is possible to keep skiing very late into the season. Additionally, Auffach offers a separate Snowboardpark with a half-pipe. With the Ski Juwel ski-pass you are able to reach every area in the Wildschönau.
